Having worked with the brand earlier, the designers were capable of effortlessly translating the brand values right into a bespoke design. A traditional yet modern, luxurious design approach turned into an instantaneous translation of the brand image.
The design is a pleasing stability between luxury and practical, sensitive and rustic, polished and rough, formal and playful. Taking concepts from traditional English library, the storage on the perimeter continues until the ceiling with sliding ladders for access. The mass of the storage on the perimeters is broken with a delicate metal beading at the front.
The black exposed bricks blends seamlessly with the brass molding on the polished veneer that continues to create a bay wherein the counter is positioned with velvet sliders on both sides.
Each detail or material in this store is coupled with a juxtaposed detail or material which compliments each other.
The crown cut, simple patterned timber floors with a sophisticated, heavy patterned tiles as a border is a juxtaposition by itself. The joint of that is detailed with a brass inlay which is also used as a nosing detail for the steps.
The roughness of the exposed brick is complimented with the polished veneer and also with the softness of the velvet cladded walls and partitions. The simplicity of the glass displays are complimented with the heavily patterned leather-based panelling on the back.
The marble counter sticks out across the rustic exposed bricks. The easy clean ceiling with a brass pendant light is further complimented with exposed suspended track lights.
This flagship store of the brand is a man cave designed for the men who love luxurious clothing. The furnishings positioned maintains the equal concept with the chesterfields often used in a luxurious and a ritual setup which are positioned subsequent to a pool desk which represents magnificence and playfulness.
Overall, the complete store may be regarded as an experiment to seamlessly blend with naturally, contrary materials and elements.
