The F&B concept by two Emirati cousins is in the community where they grew up – Last Exit – Khawaneej.
Now a second space is opening at the most northern outpost of Meraas’s luxe truck stop concept, serving a holistic health food concept that caters towards an Emirati taste and preference.
It’s to be enjoyed in a setting designed and furnished by Dubai-based studio, Designsmith.
Having grown up in the UAE, Designsmith’s lead designer Mihir Sanganee was excited to work on a local concept.
“The owners have also stressed to us the importance of supporting local industries. Taking that into account, all the interiors in the restaurant have been manufactured in the country, and we have used natural, earthy tones and materials such as wood and brass in the overall design.
“The UAE government has been very supportive and allowed for dine in to resume, we are functioning at full capacity and this is a sign that people are still willing to eat out, they haven’t forgotten our servings and this is a reinforcing sign for us to add another location,” says Ahmed Mattar Al Tayar, Nourish co-owner.
